Description
The surface temperature on moving parts, for instance brake disks, drums or raceways is determined with the spring-loaded friction thermocouple. By attaching the mounting adapter, the spring-loaded sensor is guided on the surface with uniform pressure by means of a bayonet cap. That perfectly compensates movements caused by centrifugal force and vibrations as well as the volume decrease caused by wear and it ensures a valid measurement.
