In our range of miniature thermocouple connectors, you will find standard versions such as PMI as well as high-temperature variants such as PMIH for considerably hotter environments. Miniature Panel-Mount Couplings for Type K, J, T and N in the Shop

The miniature panel-mount couplings fit all common thermocouples of types K (NiCr-Ni), J (Fe-CuNi), T (Cu-CuNi) and N (NiCrSi-NiSi). Each connector type is manufactured with thermal-EMF-free contacts so the measuring chain works without unwanted effects at the reference junction.

The colour coding of the thermocouple panel-mount coupling follows DIN EN 50212 and prevents mix-ups during operation. Type K is green, type J black, type T brown and type N pink. This means plug connections can be assigned to a sensor in plain sight on the equipment, without having to consult a diagram.

On the sensor side, customers often combine the panel-mount couplings with matching compensating cables in tolerance class 2. On request, Therma supplies the thermocouple panel-mount coupling together with cable and sensor as a fully assembled set.

In standard form, a thermocouple panel-mount coupling withstands the typical industrial range up to 220 °C; the high-temperature PMIH variant extends the application window to considerably hotter applications. The couplings are therefore suitable both for the wiring of sheathed thermocouples in the system periphery and for the connection to digital indicators.

Self-locking models such as the PMLI secure the plug connection against unintentional disconnection, which is particularly relevant in test rigs and installations with high vibration loads. Variants with bracket mounting also make replacement easier in service cases.
