Kart exhaust gas temperature sensor, type ‘K’, NiCr-Ni, class 1 (T-20329)
The exhaust gas temperature sensor for karts measures the temperature directly in the manifold. It is connected (screwed) directly to the manifold using a stainless steel M12 union nut, as prescribed by the FIA for racing karts. We have taken a lot of time to provide you with an extremely robust and fast-responding sensor. The sensor has been tested for years on the race track and is therefore the perfect companion for every race. The sensor is designed to withstand maximum vibrations and high temperatures while being very compact. The special feature is the connection cable. It does not consist of a mineral-insulated, stainless steel-sheathed cable, as is usually the case. This is because it is very rigid and tends to break when exposed to vibrations. Instead, the cable consists of stranded conductors with glass fibre insulation and additional heat protection made of glass fibre with VA armouring. This protects the cable and can be easily and flexibly adapted to the environment. The sensor is used with great success by professional teams.
