Type N
Nicrosil-Nisil (NiCrSi-NiSi)
The colour of the outer sheath is pink, the positive wire is also pink and the negative wire is white. Thermowires for connection to type N elements are labelled with NX. Compensation wires are marked with NC and can be used in a temperature range from 0 °C to +150 °C.
